Is There a Doctor in the House?? (or Dr. House?)
This one is for you Bee....... Kami had a spot on her chest a while back and the Dr. said it was a fungus from drooling. It spread to her back (needless to say we were pretty sure that wasn't from drooling.) It look light pink, kinda rashy and felt dry to the touch. A trip back to the Dr. and got a Rx for an anti-fungal topical. Lei applied it once and Kami back turned the color you see here. Bright red and almost welted looking. And it has stayed that way. At times she acts like it itches and drives her nuts! Lei applied a cream for......the word slips my mind at the moment......but it seemed to give her relief from the itching.
Don took her back to the Dr. this a.m. and they referred her to a derma guy in Muskegon. Have you ever seen anything like this?
I expect to add a couple of quilt picts tomorrow!!

Poor baby. I suppose it could still be a fungus, but it also looks a lots like weils from an allergic reaction.
Food, laundry soap, fabric softner, hand soap..who knows? Dermatologist, & maybe an Allergist can figute it out.
The word that slipped your mind was 'eczema'.
We're hoping it's a fungus, at least there's meds. I would hate it to be a food alergy! She seems a little more content after a cool bath and the baby eczema cream. She's sleeping 90% better in the big crib too!!
